Undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Engineering

General information

A solid grounding in Mathematics is a part of every undergraduate Engineering degree. However, the Mathematics and Engineering programme is developed for those who wish to understand the fundamentals that underpin so many of the models used in Engineering. With this fundamental background, our graduates have the flexibility to be successful in any branch of engineering, as well as in other areas.

The Mathematics and Engineering undergraduate programme is a challenging one. Students who are most successful in the programme have deep interests in both Mathematics and Engineering. If you are an Engineering student wondering whether Mathematics and Engineering is for you, a good question to ask yourself is, ``Do you want to know why and not just what?''

If you are interested in continuing your education with a graduate degree in Engineering or Science, then an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Engineering offers preparation for this that is second to none. Graduates of our programmes have successfully pursued graduate studies at some of the best universities in the world.
