Math 334 Homework

• Homework due: Monday at the beginning of class
• Please see policy concerning academic dishonesty.
• You are allowed, even encouraged, to use Maple to do annoying computations. But, of course, you will not have Maple, or even a calculator, on the exam.
• Pay attention to the footnotes!
• You may occasionally notice something on an assignment that you think was not defined in class. There are a variety of reasons for this:
  1. I forgot to mention it in class (this is the most likely reason);
  2. I intentionally did not mention it in class, but expect that you will look up the concept in the course notes (this will sometimes happen);
  3. it was mentioned in class, but you did not recall it.
  In any of the above cases, do not hesitate to contact me to ask me.
• The problem numbers refer to those in the hardcopy of the notes that are available in the Math & Stats main office. These may differ from the problem numbers in online versions, as I may add exercises over time. You are responsible for getting the right numbers.
• Questions concerning the grading of your homework should be directed to the marker for the course, Sintia Bejatovic. Let me know if you have a problem, and I will put you in contact with him.
