Math 334 Course Outline

1. Course: Math 334 - Mathematics of Engineering Systems
2. Instructor: Andrew D. Lewis.
3. Course notes will be available in the Mathematics & Statistics main office. I have made a set of detailed lecture notes that can be downloaded, although you will probably wish to pay the $TBA for the printed copy in the main office. There are two volumes, and you will need both for the course.
4. Prerequisite material: introductory real analysis and a second course in linear algebra.

6. Course grading: 35% homework, 55% final, 10% tutorial. I will discount your lowest two homework scores. If your final exam score is below 40%, then your course mark will be the lower of (1) your final exam score or (2) your mark as computed normally.
