- Feb. 27: Welcome to APSC 172 Section J. Please note there is no
Interim Project in J-section. Our class will start on Monday (Feb 27th).
You may get our workbook from the main office in Jeffery Hall (Jeff 310).

Required text:
- The textbook is the same as that used in APSC 171: CALCULUS, Early Transcendentals,
6th edition, by James Stewart is the required text. (You do NOT want the "Single Variable"
version.)
- In addition to the textbook, the APSC 172 interactive
workbook is also required for the course. The workbook is
available from the main office in Jeffery Hall.
Grade Distribution:
If you obtain less than 40% on the Final Examination, your Final
Examination percentage will be your final mark in the course.
If you obtain at least 40% on the Final Examination, then your final
mark will be calculated as follows:
- 40 % Final Exam
- 20 % Midterm
- 5 % Quiz Participation:
You will receive the full 5 % if you take all quizzes.
- 35 % Quizzes: There will be 10 weekly quizzes
held in our Tutorial. Three lowest marks will be dropped.
