Undergraduate Students

Alexander Duncan, a second-year Math and Computing student at UT, joined us for the summer 2003.

Fok-Jee Leung, a second-year Math and Engineering student here at Queen’s, joined us for the summer 2003.

Brandon Fodden, summer 2001 and summer 2002. Brandon is noew doing a PhD at Queen’s with Ram Murty in number theory. I think we will be able to publish his work as a paper.

Jessy Cowan-Sharp, summer 2001. Jessy was an honours physics student at Queen's.

Fok Shuen Leung, summer 2000. Fok is headed off work on his PhD in Mathematics at Oxford.

Katherine Kerr, summer 2000. Katherine is doing graduate work in Geography (!) at UBC.

Phoebe Jane Elliot, summer 1999. Phoebe went to Edmonton to do her MSc in Mathematics.

Bo Young Chang, summer 1999. Bo went to UBC to do her MSc in Mathematics.

Erik Jensen, summer 1998 and summer 1997. Erik stayed on at Queen’s to do his MSc in Mathematics.

G Gregory Smith, summer 1995. Greg went on to do a PhD in Mathematics at Berkeley under the supervision of David Eisenbud and is now a PostDoctoral Fellow at Columbia. We have a joint paper together, see my list of publications. Greg just accepted a tenure-track position at Queen’s.

Rowen Bell, summer 1994. Rowen went on to PhD studies at Chicago and is now working as an actuary there.

Michael Roth, summer 1993. Michael went on to do his PhD at Harvard under the supervision of Joe Harris, and is currently a PostDoctoral Fellow at Michigan. He is now on faculty at Queen’s.

Robert Brown, summer 1987. Rob went on to do his MSc here at Queen’s under my supervision, and then took a job at Nortel in Belleville.

Michelle Fisher, summer 1987. Michelle went on to a position in the Department of National Defense in Ottawa.
