I am Hamidreza Ebrahimzadeh Saffar.

I am a Master's student of Mathematics and Engineering at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the Queen's University at Kingston, ON, Canada. I am working under supervision of Professor Fady Alajaji and Professor Tamas Linder. I have done my BS in Electrical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering. My main interests lie in the fields of Information and Communication Theory, on which I am working now for my Master's thesis. I am generally interested in applied mathematics, especially common areas betweeen mathematics and Electrical Engineering such as Communications and Control. Specifically, I am doing research on Joint Source-Channel Coding (JSCC) presently.
