Change to Lab Schedule Jan 27, 2012
We are changing the lab schedule and format for two of the labs, to make the timing more helpful for students preparing for their tests. The labs will now be:

Notes about the online labs:
- When logging into the online labs and they request your name, you can simply use your first name; this will be used as your screen name during the lab.
- Labs are meant for drop-in help. Having specific questions will make the session more productive for you.
- They be accessed from anywhere. You do not need to be in the JEFF labs to participate.
- Doing the labs online is an experiment in this course. Any comments or suggestions about the process are welcome.

Test Group Assignments Jan 9, 2012
- Each student has been randomly assigned to either Test Group A or Group B
- Find out which group you are in using the "Grades" section in Moodle.
- The full schedule of tests for the term, including the material covered in each test, is also posted under the "Lab Tests" link.
PDF Annotation Jan 9, 2012
A student today asked about ways to add notes to incomplete lecture PDF files that will be posted during the term; this would allow you to do both MATLAB coding and take notes using your laptop during the lectures.
Commercial software like Adobe Professional will do this, but a free online option for those interested is offered through PDF Escape. It allows you to annotate PDFs with text and other basic tools, and then download the results.

class can use, please let me know.

Welcome to the MATH 272 web site. Information about the course will be provided here during the term.
- Lectures in MATH 272 will begin on Mon Jan 9th.
- Labs and tutorials in MATH 272 will begin in Week 2 of classes. There are no labs or tutorials in the first week.
