A forum has been created on Moodle for students to discuss exchanges of their exam times.
Pairs of students can exchange times. Simply send an email with both students' names and NetIDs to math272@mast.queensu.ca
Exchanged can be up until midnight on Sunday Apr 15th. (Exam dates are Tue Apr 17 and Wed Apr 18.)
Students will write the April Exam for MATH 272 on either Tue Apr 17th or Wed Apr 18th. The exam is held in the JEFF labs, so we will use four exam times to allow all students to write.
More information about the exam is available under the
Final Exam link to the left.
The links to the next online labs will be kept up-to-date on the Tutorials/Labs/Help page.
We are changing the lab schedule and format for two of the labs, to make the timing more helpful for students preparing for their tests. The labs will now be:
| Monday Evening | 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Online: |
| Wednesday | 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM | JEFF 155 (no change) |
| Wednesday Evening | 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Online |
You can view the updated class schedule under the Tutorials/Labs/Help link.
Notes about the online labs:
The notes for the Week 2 lectures have been posted under
the
Course Notes link to the left.
A student today asked about ways to add notes to incomplete lecture PDF files that will be posted during the term; this would allow you to do both MATLAB coding and take notes using your laptop during the lectures.
Commercial software like Adobe Professional will do this, but a free online option for those interested is offered through PDF Escape. It allows you to annotate PDFs with text and other basic tools, and then download the results.
If you have any other suggestions for tools that students in the
class can use, please let me know.
Welcome to the MATH 272 web site. Information about the course will be provided here during the term.
